Privacy Policy

The short version: if you join the waitlist, we store your email address and use it for exactly one thing — telling you when LifeTavern opens. No tracking scripts, no analytics, no ads, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

Your email address — only if you type it into the waitlist form and submit it. We don't ask for your name or anything else.

Basic technical data — like any website, our host records standard request information (such as IP address, browser type, and the time of the request) in server logs. We also use your IP address momentarily to rate-limit the signup form against spam bots. It isn't stored in a database and isn't linked to your email address.

What we don't do

• No analytics or tracking scripts — no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel.
• No advertising or tracking cookies.
• We don't sell, rent, or share your email with advertisers.
• We don't build a profile on you or track you across other sites.

Why we have your email

One reason: to email you when LifeTavern launches. After you sign up you'll get a confirmation email (to prove the address is really yours), and then a launch email when the doors open. That's the whole deal.

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of services to run the site. Each one only receives what it needs:

• Kit (ConvertKit) — our email provider. It stores your email address and sends our emails. Like most email platforms, Kit can record whether you opened or clicked an email. Kit's privacy policy.
• Vercel — hosts this website and runs the form submission. It sees standard server-log data. Vercel's privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — this site loads its typefaces from Google's font servers, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads. We use it for nothing else.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe anytime. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. One click, no questions asked.
• Delete your data. Email contact@lifetavern.com and we'll remove your address from our list entirely.
• Stay anonymous. Just browsing this site adds you to nothing. Your email is only stored if you choose to submit the form.

Children

LifeTavern isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. If it ever changes in a way that affects how we use your email, we'll tell you by email.
